PROFILE OF PRISCA CHIDIMMA AMADI – BEST ENTREPRENEURIAL STUDENT, 3RD CONGREGATION OF REGENTROPFEN COLLEGE OF APPLIED SCIENCE (ReCAS)
Miss Prisca Chidimma Amadi is the best entrepreneurial student of the 2021 graduating class of Regentropfen College of Applied Sciences (ReCAS). Miss Amadi is a Nigerian from Enugu state. She had her basic school education at Lireni nursery and primary school, Okokomaiko, Lagos Nigeria. She completed her secondary school education in the year 2011 and subsequently taught as a basic school teacher in Accra from 2011-2015.
Miss Amadi enrolled on the Bachelor of Science (Business administration) programme at Regentropfen College of Applied Sciences (ReCAS) in 2016. Whiles a student at ReCAS, Miss Amadi juggled between schooling and managing a business. Due to this, she found her education a little challenging but ultimately she learnt practical values in her education at ReCAS that helped her successfully blend school life with work. Miss Amadi was also a beneficiary of the Regentropfen College of Applied Sciences’ (ReCAS) scholarship programme that seeks support students financially so they achieve their academic goals. She was also a secretary of the first Students’ Representative Council (SRC). Miss Amadi served as a member of the Catholic student union (Pax Romana) and also the Pax choir.
Miss Amadi graduates with honours (second class upper) and has a business that is doing amazingly well now. She does not only make beads but also customizes items such as necklace, bracelets, wallets, flasks and gift packages. She is entirely grateful to ReCAS and especially to Rev. Fr. Dr. Moses Asaah Awinongya (SVD) for the opportunity given by ReCAS. She also was and still is inspired by her late Father Mr. Patrick Amadi because he was a very committed business man.
