Regentropfen University College (ReCAS) is set to host a three-day seminar for its lecturers and staff from 29th to 31st January 2024. The seminar, which will take place at the college’s auditorium, will feature a guest speaker, Prof Robert A. Amoah, known for his expertise in risk management and institutional leadership.
The seminar’s theme is “Identifying and Managing Potential Risk, the Role of Institutional Leaders.” The aim of the seminar is to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and mitigate various types of risks that may affect the college’s operations, reputation, and performance. The seminar will also explore the role of institutional leaders in creating a culture of risk awareness, accountability, and resilience.
Robert Amoah (Ph.D.) is a professor of finance at the Graduate College of Business at Ohio Christian University and the University of the Pacific in the USA. Prof. Amoah also serves as the HOD for Business Studies Department at Regentropfen University College, Ghana. He has authored two books in finance and several peer-reviewed articles. He currently serves as an editorial board member of the International Journal of Economics, Finance & Management Studies (IJEFM).
The seminar will include lectures, case studies, group discussions, and interactive sessions. The participants will have the opportunity to learn from Prof Amoah’s insights and experiences, as well as share their own challenges and best practices. The seminar will also provide a platform for networking and collaboration among the lecturers and staff of ReCAS.
